Smart Taskbar is finally going to V0.6 with new backup and restore features (Pro version feature). Soon, I’ll try to fix all FC bugs and overhaul entireUI with help from professional graphic designer. For change log, please check below.

Added:
(1) Backup and Restore (Pro version only)
(2) Option for one click task kill (Option to revert back to the old task killer behavior)

Fixed:
(1) Placement of Popup from long pressing an App item is now anchored beside the pressed app item.
(2) Fixed click on app info results in crash or blink of screen on 2.2 handset.

This time, I finally added App management feature in Smart Taskbar. Just long press on any app icon on Smart Taskbar to access  this feature. If you have PRO version, you can also access task killer in the pop up menu.

Fixed:
(1) Force Close related to a quick launch spot issue
(2) Empty Smart Taskbar App list

Added:
(1) App management (Long press on App Icon to access Detail, Uninstall, Kill)
(2) Preference for removing Top Bar.

I have finally added Task Killer feature in Smart Taskbar. However, it is still an experimental feature for 2.2 user. So far it works great all devices I have. Please be noted that this feature is only available to user who has purchased Smart Taskbar key or so called, Pro version.

(1) Added option for reopening taskbar upon widget viewer is closed
(2) Added RESTART_PACKAGES,KILL_BACKGROUND_PROCESS permission for task killer support
(3) Added task killer function in Task Label + running task display mode (Long press on task to kill it, Works on Pro version only) Refer to built in online help, section: Task killer for more detail.

In this release I added online help with much more detailed user manual than the previous built in help. In addition to that, Google checkout is finally available in Canada. So straightforward upgrade through Google checkout is no available . Just search for Smart Taskbar and you will find something called Smart Taskbar Key.
