(1) Option to place sidebar horizontally at TOP or Bottom

just installed your latest version and like the new horizontal button order feature very much. Though I have some minor glitches and some suggestions for next version to make it near perfect for me.
1) if you have less than 5 icons placed (pro) and select horizontal mode, the icons will be placed vertical in the upper or lower screen area, not horizontal. So you have to select 5 or more items to get it horizontal.
2) there would fit 5 feature icons plus exit button into horizontal layout. But if you select 5 items to show (pro), you get only 4 items plus the toggle icon, though on the second page is just the 5th icon and the toggle and exit button again. If there would be 5 feature buttons in the first screen, there would be no need for second screen (nor toggle button). Very annoying at least for me.
3) If you chose bottom horizontal layout and use menu item from button savior, the upcoming menu is partly covered by button savior. So you first have to quit out manually to see complete menu. What about the feature to auto hide button savior especially in bottom horizontal mode, only when menu button was triggered. This could be implemented as on/off feature in button savior settings.
Your opinions to that report would be very appreciated.

Sorry I did this feature quite in a rush. So didn’t test and try thoroughly. Will refine the horizontal display this week,

Why do I have to root the phone to be able to use the Button savior app?
Isn’t it possible to make an app with the same very usefull function without having to root the phone? Perhaps it’s impossible, I don’t know?! But if it’s possible I’d be willing to pay alot for that kind of app, since no other “touch button app” that I’ve found gets even close to Button savior.

Works very nice on buttonless rooted nook color. However, would like to see configurable opacity on trigger to make it easier to see.

Great program and must a request could we get a slider for position of buttons on screen

Ok, this is pretty sad, but… how about just drawing a bit on the edge of the screen, and disable the buttons… based on orientation…. and then the user can see where the physical buttons are. I’m using a gtablet (great but no light on buttons). I,m using savior and works great, but a bit intrusive on some appls. Then I realized that I don’t actually care about the buttons onscreen… I just want to know where the physical buttons are. I’m guessing this would be easy, no that you can draw everything over the other apps *(that seems like the hard part)… then the configuration would probably be a pain. (But a slider for position, and a slider for button size might do it)… anyway… love that app… thanks!

I really enjoy this site: it let’s me organize all the tasks (functions want to perform) in ways that I think are logical, vs. Manufacture. And I like making my own widgets!
