Hi. I love this program. Is there any way to add Volume Up and Volume Down functions? A lot of ROMs remap these hard buttons and volume control is lost within applications. This would be very helpful. Please contact me if this is possible. Thanks.

I would buy this if it had volume buttons like softkey, which is too buggy on my c8

I had this working on my Vega with the ModaCo MCR r8 ROM and it worked perfectly so i bought the Pro version.
After a re-install of the Vega ROM the Menu and Back buttons no longer work.
I’ve checked for SuperUser binary update and none is available, USB debugging is enabled too.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app MANY times now and still those buttons don’t work

I wiped my Vega and re-installed the custom ROM.
Button Savior working perfectly again.

Really love this great app!
Until last version i hardly used the hardware button of my HD2 anymore. However since the latest version the buttons became so tiny they are practically invisible now. Wished they were resizable. It would make it a perfect tool!
Thanks & regards

are u using Screen Density Mod??
Mar 29, 2011 @ 21:52:22
I have not purchased your software yet, there is one issue that I am having problem with I am using Droid X and display will not turn off after 30 sec. which I have set for. If I reboot the phone it will work for a while and then stops working only way I can put display to sleep is by pressing power button or pressing software power button on your application.

I think there is something running to prevent your screen from turning off. You need to check every app installed with this security permission “android.permission.WAKE_LOCK” Only app with this permission can keep your screen always on.

1: Make sure your device is rooted
2: Make sure u have usb debugging enabled.
3: In some older version of superuser, button savior wont run correctly. Try update to newer.
4: In some older su binary, button savior wont finction fully. Please get a newe version of su which normally comes with update.zip when you root your device.
5: Last, please make sure you have granted root permission for Button Savior in superuser.

Bought pro version for my Vega. Works well. But how can I see more than just the 2 ‘fixed’ and 4 user buttons?

I will add more action in later release. Maybe even ability to assign shortcut.
